Iain Cotton stone-letters-sculpture

David's wife wanted a free standing celtic cross, but the churchyard rules would not allow it. I designed this celtic cross which I carved quite deeply into the stone. The symbols around the cross were chosen by Angela and I made the pebble in the centre from an Irish stone called Killkenny. The ripples that radiate from the pebble are a symbol of the positive effects of a life well lived.
