Iain Cotton stone-letters-sculpture

Keith Spencer was an art critic and a poet and I carved this extaordinary landscape image into the top of his headstone, giving it a distinctive profile. The image is drawn from a painting by John Nash, and at the bottom of the headstone are the words from a poem by Keith inspired by the painting: "we found on the wet shore a nest of wild stones."
