St james's parade 1
The St James's Parade inscription was very heavily and poorly repaired with cementitious mortars. Conservation principally involved removing these repairs and indenting new stones and recutting the missing letters or parts of letters. The indents were made to remove as little of the extant inscription as possible. pointing and mortar repairs were in lime putty mortar and aggregates to match the original substrate.
