Iain cotton is a stone carver, lettering artist and sculptor, who lives and works near the fine Georgian city of Bath. He makes beautiful hand crafted memorials, commissions to celebrate the important moments in our lives, sculptures for the home and garden, and distinctive house names. He makes inscriptions and sculptures for public places. He works creatively and sensitively with his clients, seeking the most appropriate ways to express their ideas.
He has been working as a stone carver and sculptor since 1990, and has acquired a huge range and depth of experience. He has worked on the conservation of historic buildings, statuary and garden ornament, new carving for historic contexts, and architectural carving for new buildings and old. He has made work for private and public bodies, including the National Trust. He continues to make and exhibit his own sculpture.
